Mickey Mouse and Goofy on the Disney Big 35

I return home to report the mastodon Disney, Disney Big , a bulldog of over 500 pages, because the number 35 is on newsstands now contains the entire series of short stories Mickey Mouse and Goofy Space Cab I wrote a few years ago. The kind of humorous science fiction, not too busy, but for me very interesting and highly informative. The title that I gave to the series was Mickey Mouse and Goofy Area Taxi to the similarity that he had with Radio Taxi, and in fact this name recurs here and there in the text. I read the episodes for the occasion and, as almost always happens to me with things I wrote (who knows why), I liked. Who knows, maybe one day, perhaps, you never know, will leave even the two adventures (very) long in this series that I wrote after I wrote those short on this Disney Big . However I find it interesting that you take advantage of the size of this text for their systematic and comprehensive series and miniseries: A good idea.

The drawings are of Claudio Sciarrone, one of the most celebrated artist of his generation.

Above, guess', the cover (Corrado Mastantuono!).

Cheat Mount & Blade Wedding Dance

And Soon the Darkness

Once upon a time Creature from the country road , a small masterpiece by Robert Fuest on two British girls on holiday cycling in France dealing with a homicidal maniac. Now there And Soon the Darkness (which is the same title, in the original film Fuest) by Marcos Efron on two American girls on holiday in Argentina struggling with chassis serial murders. There are forty years between the original film and its remake, in this case, and the differences are many. Who wants to know what you think, can go here to read the new installment of Horror Frames, address book, I write for MyMovies.

Instead of Pamela Franklin - very good actress that I have already spoken here - Amber Heard is one of the best promises of today, already noted in shewn
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and The Stepfather - The Stepfather .

How To Refuse The Gift You Donot Want

Body and Shelter - Identity paranormal

Among the upcoming releases stand out to the movies the Thai horror Body (already passed in the 2008 Udine Far East Film Festival) Paween Purikitpanya of (or in another Purijitpanya transliteration) and Shelter - Identity with paranormal Julianne Moore, a film that begins as a thriller and then turns into horror in the round (a good or bad? me the idea I have done, seeing him).

Who wants to know how I feel about these two films can go and read the great reviews I've written to MyMovies: Body is here, while Shelter - identity is paranormal here.

Here hand over a photo of each of the two films.

Bob Dylan at the Grammys Awards

Last night the usual ceremony of the Grammys - one of the awards that I know less interesting if only for the incredible proliferation of categories that makes it any less significant victory - an event has occurred who has had starring Bob Dylan.

As we know - I talked about in cinema Bob Dylan - Dylan has repeatedly took to the stage of the Grammys, from the late 70s to receive awards or other, realizing some memorable moments: the acceptance speech of the Lifetime Achievement Award (now twenty years ago!) and Love Sick with the intrusion of so-called Soy Bomb are just a few.

Again, Dylan did not want to deny and, in an acoustic curtain between the glitter of the Grammys, he has appeared with a large backing band that included Mumford and Sons, the Avett Brothers and members of the group that follows him on tour for many years (including the ubiquitous Tony Garnier).

The song choice is not among the most unknown or not performed in public - Maggie's Farm - but, as someone noted, the choice is more significant than you might superficially think Dylan has it, a little ' perversely, as is usual, chosen for a performance one of the songs sound just as it had "become electrical" back in the 1965 Newport Festival, in a kind of throwback, an obvious step revisited.

The exhibition, with a little bit 'of good will can be found here and there, and should still be sent in a couple of days on TV (on site Maggie's Farm talking about a broadcast on February 16 to 22: 00 on ITV2, for those who can not make this mistake if that issuer is English). Those who appreciate Bob Dylan should not lose it: in fact, beyond the interest for this return to Maggie's farm, the interpretation itself was compelling and worthy of note. The overwhelming rhythm accompaniment of chaotic crowds of musicians with a wide variety of acoustic instruments have served to outline a Dylan in great shape and with the air of a lot of fun. The voice is broken and torn apart in recent years, but its expression is not reduced. The meaning of the song remains intact - with its rebellion against the master's power - and the pace and positivity that oozes this interpretation she become so much a cry of anger like the old days, a libertarian and anarchist anthem.

Smash Cut

Horror Frames at this time - the book that I write to MyMovies - it's the turn of Herschell Gordon Lewis, the father of the splatter, and a film that is dedicated and who also appears as an actor: Smash Cut Demarbre Lee, author of Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter and Summer's Moon .

The main actor is David Hess, who many will remember as the star of
The Last House on the Left . But there is also Sasha Grey, Divette of porn in a fairly successful attempt to industrial restructuring. Who wants to read what

I think the film has to do is go here .

Happy 2011

Hi!

is time that we did not feel!
fact, for a long time since I wrote four lines that makes me a bit 'ashamed to greet you now and wish you bon years, 35 days after New Year ...
But it is better now than ever!

This year began with the great favor of new projects and the consolidation of others who already have a habit, such as weekly meetings of Everest (a café, not the mountain) to talk about this and that, but still Italian.
For example, there is an ongoing series of conferences on the unit of Italy and the Risorgimento, which were prepared by the excellent attitude of the Department of Italian Language School Official Languages \u200b\u200bde Las Rozas.
for the pupils of NI2 and NA 1 and NA2, the conference included, "to close in beauty," the recitation of a well-known song of "The Betrothed" by Alessandro Manzoni, Milan's famous writer and politician, creator-tra other merits of the choice-of-Florentine Tuscany as an official language of united Italy, and the author of this masterpiece of world literature.
The dignified mother of Cecilia, in handing over the daughter to Monatti "with his hair parted on her forehead, a white dress, as if those hands they had decorated for a party promising a long time and date for award" has moved more d ' one to tears ...

After the success of the conference Unification of Italy, in preparation for another is something about the Divine Comedy, inspired by the songs I, V and XXXIII Hell of Heaven.

For now only remains for me thank you for your attention, and then because of the votes in this new year the Club Lampedusa magnifies and spreads. You've earned it.

Frankenstein junior

The occasion made me write that at the time of an old movie I liked a lot: Frankenstein junior signed by Mel Brooks, but which can be considered co-author Gene Wilder who, in addition to providing one of the best performances of his career, he also wrote the screenplay along with Brooks.

Who wants to read what I wrote, for MyMovies, just go here .

Above the unforgettable Marty Feldman in one of the key roles of the film.
